LED Light therapy

Light therapy isn’t about heat or surface treatment, it’s about awakening your body’s own repair mechanisms. Red and near-infrared wavelengths (typically 630–850 nm) penetrate deep into tissues to stimulate mitochondria, boosting cellular energy (ATP), reducing inflammation, and accelerating healing. Blue light (405-470 nm), on the other hand, works more superficially to target acne-causing bacteria on the skin.

How It Works

🔴 Red/Near-Infrared Light penetrates tissue to activate cytochrome c oxidase in mitochondria, enhancing ATP production and cellular regeneration.
🔵 Blue Light (typically around 415 nm) works at the skin’s surface, helping to kill acne causing bacteria, reduce oiliness, and prevent breakouts.

What We Use It For

  • Pain & Inflammation
Reduces joint or muscle pain, promotes circulation, and supports recovery from injury or strain.
  • Skin Rejuvenation & Acne
Red light enhances collagen production and skin repair. Blue light helps manage acne by reducing inflammation and bacterial load especially when used alongside naturopathic protocols and acupuncture.
  • Mood & Energy
Supports circadian rhythm regulation, increases serotonin production, and may improve mood and energy, especially during darker seasons.
  • Mitochondrial Health
Optimizes mitochondrial performance for better hormonal balance, detoxification, and metabolic resilience.
  • Fertility & Postpartum Recovery
Improves blood flow, reduces oxidative stress, and supports tissue healing, beneficial in both fertility preparation and postpartum recovery.

What to Expect During a Session

Treatments are painless, calming, and take about 10–30 minutes. You may feel a gentle warmth as light penetrates the skin, but there’s no discomfort.
For best results, light therapy is offered in a series, often paired with acupuncture, depending on your goals.

The Value of Integrating Red Light Therapy

We offer red light therapy not as a standalone, but as part of a comprehensive, integrative approach to health. Whether you’re looking to regenerate tissue, regulate stress, improve skin health, or enhance mood, this modality can be an adjunct to naturopathic care.
